The WoCaNet 2019 Organizing Team is happy to announce that the 6th Women‘s Careers and Networks Symposium will be held on the 18th-19th of March 2019 at the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry (MPIbpc) in Göttingen, with the slogan Towards a Dialog!

The organizers would like to wholeheartedly invite you to register for the symposium and make it another successful edition of WoCaNet.

The 19th of March will feature talks by successful women and men in science from different research fields, industry and other professional backgrounds. In addition, there will be a panel discussion on diversity in science. You can already contribute to our panel discussion by taking part in the online SURVEY. After the main day event, you will have the opportunity to join the networking dinner (limited spots available!!).

On the day before the main symposium event (the 18th of March), we will offer two soft-skill workshops (Embracing Diversity in Leadership by Dr. Alexander Schiller, and Storytelling for Scientists by Dr. Karin Bodewits & Simon Hauser). Please note that these workshops are reserved for participants who identify as female, because they are supported by equal opportunities funds. Spots are limited so register early!
